Description:
This is a dark brown leather holster for the Webley Mk. VI Service Revolver, and has an overall chocolate brown color with scattered minor surface blemishes and handling marks. The holster was intended to be worn on a Sam Browne belt and has a single asymmetric belt loop with brass shoulder strap loop. Minor scuffs and handling marks are present on the body, and all of the seam stitching is intact. The flap has only very minor crazing, while the closure tab is moderately crazed, with maker’s name and date stamp: “WEIGHTMAN BROTHERS / 1915". This is a well-made WW1 British holster, and is in fine overall condition.
