Description:
This is a solid die-struck oval decoration with traces of the original bright white metal finish remaining on some of the protected areas, mainly within the encircling wreath. There is some mild white oxidation in small spots along the obverse of the badge with heavier white oxidation on the obverse, heaviest around the brooch pin mount and catch. This is a very good original silver World War II wound badge and would make a fine addition to any collection.
