Description:
A Charles Lancaster Colindian Ball and Shot Gun in excellent condition. Built on Lancasters "wrist breaker" easy open action. It is apparent that the rear sight has been removed and the quarter rib etched or engraved with a nice pattern along with the rear of both barrels. Perfect bores in the 29in. steel barrels.Both barrels have been honed out to eliminate the oval bore rifling and are bright and shiney. Bore dimensions are R-.732 L- .729 both barrels have chokes of .720 about 1/2 in from Muzzle. Action and all metal is rust and pit free. Profuse engraving which is very chrisp. The butt stock wood is gorgeous and the large Lancaster standard checking is sharp - possibly refreshed. The gun weighs 7lbs. 5oz., LOP 14 1/4in to Silvers pad, dah 2 1/4in., dac 1 1/2in. The left barrel shows the following "The Colindian (Reg) A Rifled Gun for Shot and Ball". The right barrel shows "NonFouling Smooth Oval Bore Rifling". Price plus shipping.
