Description:
Here is a very cool antique rifle that we have for sale. This is a Belgium made Flobert Single Shot Parlor Rifle chambered in .32 Cal Rimfire. The proof marks indicate that this rifle was made in 1892 or earlier which means that it is classified as an antique and can be shipped direct if you provide us with your drivers license and an email statement that you may own firearms. The barrel is 28 inches and it is rifled. The bore is in pretty good condition with some wear but lots of visible rifling. These rifles were intended for very low power black powder rimfire loads that were common during this period of rifle. As such, it would not be recommended to shoot this antique rifle. The barrel is partially octagonal near the breech and transitions to a round barrel. The barrel is marked "Belgium" on top. The side of the barrel has the "Star over X" and "Circled L.E.G. over Star" proof marks. Still retains a good amount of bluing, whether the finish is original or not is unknown. The stock has a crack behind the receiver but is in otherwise sound condition with the usual handling marks. Overall this is just a very neat example of a vintage Flobert rifle and would make an excellent addition to any collection. Buyer will pay actual shipping cost insured within the USA.
