I have for sale a lovely custom ordered and built Fratelli Poli 12 gauge side by side. This gun was ordered in 2007 and completed in 2008 to the owners specifications. The wood on this gun is certainly exhibition grade and the hand engraving is nothing short of spectacular. The gun features Capercaillie Grouse on the left side of the receiver, geese on the right side, and a beautiful English Setter on the bottom of the receiver. Add to this the beautiful scroll work and the silver finish which really enhances the engraving and you have one beautiful gun. Even though the gun was special ordered with over a one year wait, the stock dimensions are very comfortable for the average shooter at 1 3/8 X 2 1/4 X 14 3/4 over the checkered wooden plate and cast off for the right hand shooter. Gun features a single non-selective trigger, 28 inch barrels with .011 of constriction in the right barrel for improved cylinder and .029 in the left for a tight modified. Chambers are 3 inches and marked as such on the flats. Solid flat tapered rib is hand cut checkering to reduce glare. The weight of this gun is exactly 7 pounds and it balances just as it should exactly on the hinge pin. Even though the breech face shows no indication that the gun was ever shot the owner said he did fire the gun. The only marks on the gun are a few tiny marks on the barrels. The wood is very near perfect condition. The gun does come with a luggage case. Price of this work of art is $8900 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
