WW2 1944 T SERIES CANADIAN BROWNING FN INGLIS NO. 2 MK 1* HI-POWER 9MM SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Serial number "1T5XXX"and so marked on the barrel, slide and frame. T series fixed rear sight and original front. Hammer type "II" upgrade along with "No.2" added to front of "Mk. 1*. Designates later upgrades. Slide and frame also stamped "AF" on right side could denote many things speculated a lot on thebut I shall not assume anything although many examples for sale recently have this marking. Arsenal black paint finish with only a few check marks. Excellent grips. Mint bore. Perfect working order. Original period "JI" marked magazine along with extra aftermarket mag. Nice WW2 Canadian Army Hi Power. Navy Arms importers mark "Gemco Princeton NJ" in very tiny letters stamped above left grip panel. They imported these in the 1990's from various British Commonwealth countries where they were issued.
