Description:
This is a fair to good condition Spanish falling block shotgun in aproximately .410 bore diameter, but for an unknown shot cartridged. The top of the barrel of this gun is marked Luis Vives Y Cia Barcelona. The metal on the gun has a fine patina throughout. The barrel is octagonal from the breech for approximately 6” and then tapers out to round. The bore is pretty good with a little pitting about 6-8” down. The stock has a chip missing on the right side right where it touches the receiver. This apears to be a Belgian made copy of the Remington Rolling Block action, potentially a Nagant Bros. production, but maker and date of production are both unknown, so this cannot be treated as an exempt antique firearm.
