Here is a R Barr of New York percussion waterfowling gun with 35" barrels in 10 gauge. This massive gun tips the scales at 11 LBS 6 OZ. Clearly Maker Barr was influenced by English Percussion Guns as this piece looks very British. The 35" barrels have very good bores. No loose ribs or loose ramrod thimbles. Double wedge forend fastening system. Pineapple ramrod furniture. Engraved steel butt plate with long spur. Vacant stock square. This gun is fully functional with nipples that thread in and out. High quality lock work is smooth with half and full cock - both hammers are at complete allignment at various positions. Stock has excellent figure and sharp checkering. As an antique this piece can be shipped directly as local law allows (no NJ or NYC). Shipping is $50. Excellent stock dimensions follow.
