<<<SOLD>>>A good working Belgium 16ga double hammer gun with matched hammers and both locks work well. The 27 1/2" length stelel looking barrels are full blue color, and the bores are decent with a few speckles or spots of corrosion nearer the muzzles Chokes are a tight FULL and MOD, Profuse proofs under the barrel and 70 over 18.7 which means prepared for nitri proof , but don't seea nitro proof, so this was made at the cusp of nitro and should fire only loaded black powder in a safe range,. The muzzle looks like the barrels are original length as the barrel meet together at the center point! . Lock-plates are marked Machine Made, Safety Actiomn Bayard Gun, with fine bank note chisel engraving, and well as the underside of the frame, and trigger guard. and the French walnut stocks are very good with sharp fine hand checkering. This gun is for black powder only.This model has the Greener cross bolt for a very tight lock-up. LOP is 14 3/8" with a brown recoil rubber butt-pad. Top,of the bareel rib POUR POUDRES VIVES inlaid in gold. Overall a clean European double. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting..
