Custom Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 .338 Winchester Magnum built on an original 1956 manufactured H&H length action. Jeweled bolt body and Sunny Hill bottom metal with 3.6" magazine box for loading bullets to longer oal. 24” 1 in 10” twist barrel that I believe is a Douglas Premium, although there are no markings of any kind on barrel. Fired very little and bore appears perfect. Barrel blue shows some browning in bright light. Professionally stocked with dark full fiddleback satin finished European walnut with shadow line cheekpiece and perfect fine line checkering wrapped fully around ebony tipped forearm. 13 3/4” lop over a black Pachmayr pad. Jerry Fisher steel grip cap. There are a couple very small gunsafe marks on the left side in the action area. Want a Dakota? This rifle compares to a Dakota at a much lower price. Weight is 8 lbs.
