Made between 30 and 50 years ago these Brazilian monkey guns were imported by Firearms Int'l corp, of Washington DC, and others as they were made from the native trade of Central and South America.The muzzle of this gun measures about .48 cal, or a .50 barel but most likely used for bird shot. The lock works well, and the full blued 34" long barrel has a clean smooth bore. the hardwood stock is clean and this model has a round brass patch box inlet into the stock. This gun was pre-Taurus Brazilian made. Comes with a steel blued ram-rod. An accurate shooter that's light weight. Not made for lead bal, but burd shot..Check my inventory of rare grips, unusual gun parts, barrels and holsters.
