#SW38729, 28 Bore Model 21 Grand American Small Baby Frame Flat Side Round Frame by CSMC That Remains in Excellent Condition with the Best Engraving seen on any CSMC's Grand Americans, 28" Ejector Vent Rib Barrels with Briley chokes at .551 .005 - .009 - .013 - .016 & .021" (Imp.Cyl. - Skt.II - Mod. - Imp.Mod. & Full), 2 3/4" chambers, Single selective trigger, A slender beavertail forend, Open Pistol grip stock at 14 5/8 x 1 9/16 x 2 1/16" over a B Carved butt with checkering and fleur-de-lis's, Great Cast-Off for the right hand, True baby frame weight at 5 lbs. 12 oz., A standard frame Model 21 in 28 bore is over a pound heavier, Total B-Carved checkering on the grip and forend; Outstanding wood with great feather, color and contrast; The best engraving I have seen on a CSMC Grand American with a very accurate Pointer, Setter, Woodcock and Dove in Gold inlays with well-cut scroll, The grip cap with Grand American in Gold, The scroll coverage is very accurate with 90% coverage, It retains 99% original blue on the receiver, The original barrel blue at 98%, The buttstock and forend remain at 98%, The checkering remains at 100%, The barrels inside & out remain as new. This gun is a dream in the hand with near perfect cast-off, ideal frame and grip size, nice balance and neat weight at 5 lbs. 12 oz. This is a very nice, very American SxS that is a fine piece of excellent engineering and I give Tony kudos for doing it on our soil.
