Description:
Smith & Wesson M1917/1937 Brazilian Contract .45ACP revolver. This revolver features what appears to be a low-polish blue finish, with more modern, non-original hardwood grips. The pistol is designed to accept moonclips, which are commonly available, however none are included with this gun. The pistol can be used in double or single action, with a very smooth double action and crisp, light single action. The pistol is in good working order with tight lockup, good timing, and some very minor wear in the bore. The finish of the frame, barrel and cylinder has some loss and scratching, all of which is shown in the photos. The barrel and frame have matching serial numbers. Please refer to the photos to further assess the revolvers' condition. No handgun sales in MA.
