This 1993 vintage third generation Colt Single Action Army is in near-perfect condition and comes with a factory box and owner's manual. It appears to have only been test fired at the factory and put in storage since it was bought new. This beautiful factory nickel finish Single Action Army has a 4.75" inch barrel and is chambered in the very popular .44-40 WCF cartridge. To many collectors, this is the most desirable combination of barrel length, caliber, and finish. The .44-40 WCF caliber is also very popular with Cowboy Action Shooters and reinactors who can load both their rifles and revolvers with the same ammunition, just as the cowboys of the old west did in the 1800's. The factory nickel finish on this Colt rates 99%, with the only deductions coming from some extremely tiny little handling/storage marks in the finish, only visible under very close inspection. The worst of these tiny marks is on the left side of the frame just below the rear-most screw (You can see it in picture #3, the close-up of the left grip). All of the screws on this Colt are perfect and show no signs of ever having a screwdriver on them. The bore in both the 4.75" inch barrel is perfect and mirror-bright, as are all 6 of the cylinder bores. The factory original checkered black plastic grips are in mint condition, free from any wear, cracks, chips, or repairs. Both sides are perfectly fit to the gun, and both sides are tight to the frame with no wiggle. The Rampant Colt and Eagle moldings are in perfect shape on both grips. The action and all of the controls on this Single Action Army are in perfect working order. We have no doubt that it would function just as perfectly and reliably as the day it left the factory. As mentioned before, this 1993 Colt SAA revolver comes with an original blue Colt factory box, the inserts, and the owner's manual. This Colt would be an excellent addition to any collection and a fine long-term investment.
