Up for your consideration is an absolute gem of a find. We are proud to offer this simply amazing like new in box Smith and Wesson Model 36 AKA. Chief's Special chambered in .38 Special. This 3in model 36 was manufactured in 1969 based not only on serial number, but dating on the paperwork included in the original box. That's right! Original box and paperwork with this one! All of it is in amazing condition. With the box being a great survivor of the 50+ years since this gun was shipped in it. The original paperwork is still crisp and clean with no folds, smudges or stains. This mint quality continues when you see the gun. The gun is like new in box and likely is unfired. If there are any handling marks on this gun we cannot find them. The hi polish blue is deep and rich with no signs of any fading, or wear whatsoever. The case coloring on the trigger and hammer is bright and extremely detailed. This gun is a true SURVIVOR!
