A very nice rifle, clean condition, shiny bore, serial #402836. 1941 marked the end of Savage 99 takedown production and this is a very high serial number for a 99G, so it's one of the last ones. Overall strong bluing showing a bit of thinning and high edge wear in the usual locations. Original finish on nice wood. No cracks, chips or unauthorized holes, 24" barrel, Lyman 56 receiver sight. Lots of case color left on the lever.
I will accept a postal money order or personal check, although shipment will be delayed a bit in the latter case until it clears. Shipment to your FFL will be $25. C&R is fine too.
