There is a pretty big hole in the end of that barrel! Bright and shiny with deep rifling. Revolver retains most of the original nickel finish with a few spots having thinned. The revolver is embellished with very nice tight foliate scrollwork throughout. The barrel is marked "MANUFRE FRANCAISE" on the right and "D'ARMES ET CYCLES ST. ETIENNE" on the left. There are some French proofs on the right side frame and cylinder. The hammer, axis pin, ejector rod assembly, screw heads and trigger face retain most of the bright nitre blue. The sides of the hammer and trigger are also very nicely jeweled. The black hard rubber grips are near excellent condition. The action works well in both double and single action. This revolver features a swing-out ejector rod, loading gate and rebounding hammer. A nice looking French-made revolver in a large caliber.
