Beretta --- Model 455 EELL Pinless, Hand-Detachable, Sidelock Ejector --- .416 Rigby 24 1/2" SxS chopper-lump barrels with ramp front sight, smooth concave rib, matted quarter rib with 1 standing and 1 folding gold-inlaid express sights engraved for 50 & 100 yards, and with quick-detachable claw mount scope bases and 30mm rings. Highly figured European walnut stocks with lever-release splinter forend, trapdoor steel pistol grip cap containing extra front sight blade, classic point-pattern checkering, beaded pancake cheekpiece, engraved steel trap for two spare cartridges, and thin black Decelerator recoil pad. Coin-finished, bolstered, extended-bar, back-action, hand-detachable, internal-pin sidelock action with intercepting sears, automatic ejectors, bushed firing pins, concealed third fastener, articulated front trigger, beaded-edge triggerguard, bolted manual top tang safety, long top tang extending over comb, and long bottom tang extending to grip cap. Fully engraved by S Venzi with bulino scenes of elephant on left, rhino on right and cape buffalo underneath, the remaining bright metalwork covered with deeper-cut foliate scroll. Pull: 14 3/4". Castoff: a trace. Weight: 11lbs, 2 1/2oz without scope. Built 1995. Lightly used. Retaining 99%+ barrel blue. Tight on the face, and with excellent bores.
