Description:
This W&C Scott & Son 10 Ga is in very good condition with 32 inch blue round side by side barrels that have very clean bright bores. The walnut stock and fore end are in very good condition with some very minor field marks on the sides of the stock. The metal is also in very good condition with some minor field marks on the barrel. This shot guns receiver was built between 1870-1880 by W&C Scott & Son in Birmingham England. It then was then presumed sold by Joseph Butler &co, listed as a gun maker in Chicago between 1870 -1880. The receiver is marked with Purdey patent #1104 of May 1863 for the thumb-hole underlever, along with the Purdey patent of 1865 for the bolting system. Over all this is a very nice shot gun that would be a great add into your collections.
