Description:
High Standard, Model DM-101, double-action, OU derringer chambered in .22 magnum.  The date of  manufacture of this gun is late sixties to early seventies.  The gun is marked with the caliber and “DM-101” on the left side frame, “HIGH STANDARD DERRINGER” with eagle logo on the left side of the barrel.  The right side of the barrel is marked with “HIGH STANDARD MFG, CORP, —HAMDEN. CONN. U.S.A.—  The derringer has a 3 1/2-inch barrel; its overall length is 7 inches; its height is 3 inches, and its unloaded weight is 10.5 ounces.  Accessories include the original maroon factory presentation case.  There are no other accessories.

The overall condition of this knife-gun itself is 95+ percent.  The factory bluing on the steel barrel assembly is 98+ percent, with some scuffing on the top right side of the barrel.  There is some wear to the anodized finished on the top and bottom of the grip where a small amount of bare metal is exposed on the high points (see photos).  The interior of the presentation box is clean and bright, but does have some wear to the felt-covered plastic.  There are some scratches on the outside of the box (see photos).

The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details.  Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better.

The buyer pays $25.50 for USPS Priority mail ($20) and insurance ($5.50), if insurance is desired.  I will accept a personal check, but will hold the gun until it clears.  I will also accept USPS money orders which I do not have to hold, as they clear immediately.  I will accept other type money orders, but will hold gun until they clear.    Check or money orders must be made out to Jerry Pownall.
