Description:
This is a Mauser S/42 1938 Data,LATE FINISH, POLICE with a 1938 chamber date and Sear Safety. This Police Model is all matching serial numbers with a matching Hanel Schemaisser magazine. It retains 85% of the original salt blue finish on the pistol and magazine. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is very good, bright and shiny with strong rifling and a very small amount of frosting on the ridges. The serial number is 5288 i on the pistol and 5288 on the blue body magazine. It is rare to find a Police Luger with a matching magazine. This one is marked Hanel Schemaisser, a rear combination. This needs a C&R or FFL to ship. In FTF transfer in Vallejo, CA.
