Ross M-1910 Sporter .280 Ross caliber rifle. Very fine Ross sporting rifle. Action works perfectly and very smoothly. This rifle employs a rotary head bolt with locking lugs which rotate and lock up when bolt is in full battery position. Anyone disassembling the bolt must reassemble it correctly. Failure to do that makes the rifle unsafe to fire. So, the easiest solution is not to disassemble the bolt as it is now in correct assembly. These Ross rifles are very well made and we want to be sure the next owner understands the previous descriptions. Bore is perfect. Gun has 99% original blue. Stock is excellent, as is the checkering, no chips or cracks. Butt plate is checkered steel. Forend of stock has a Schnauble type feature. Rear barrel sight is 500-meter folding sight. The receiver has a pop-up peep rear sight that activates by pushing on a small button on the rear receiver bridge. Very desirable rifle for anyone who appreciates fine quality workmanship.
