Description:
Up for consideration is a beautiful Winchester Model 1894 rifle chambered in .30-30 Win. This gun was manufactured in 1942 and features a 20in round barrel, as well as a Lyman rear peep sight. As stated this gun was manufactured in 1942 making it a Pre-64 model. The Pre-64 variants of these rifles are particularly desirable for collectors as these are considered the last guns made in the golden age of Winchester. This gun is no exception with a tight, and smooth action. Overall condition is very good, with some blue thinning in high contact areas on the receiver and barrel. But all the original blue present is clean, and rust free. This is a true survivor with non of the blue finish, nor the wood finish being altered in any way. Wood again is in excellent condition with only some very minor handling wear if any. The bore is nothing short of spectacular with like new rifling and shiny walls. This gun is the prime example of an often carried seldom shot rifle. Don't miss your opportunity to own this beautiful survivor of a legendary Pre-64 model 1894.
