Description:
24 inch barrel chambered in 44 RF caliber. Barrel has a nice visible address and the serial number indicates it was made in March of 1865. Sling swivels are present. Barrel has an antique grey patina with numerous light dings and dents. Brass receiver and buttplate have been polished. Wood is a little shy at the tangs but looks good. Bore is not that bad and the action is a little sluggish. Maybe just needs a little oil and TLC. A good looking example piece from 155 years ago. An affordable Henry from the Civil War era.
