Description:
This fine gun appears to be a presentation grade 32 cal. revolver, with deep chisel engraved frame and a strong roll die cylinder scene of a stage coach robbery,with a few surface dents on the cylonder , even the back-strap is engraved Metal finish is smooth grey, mixed with brown patina, and the top of the barrel has: LONDON PISTOL in use. The American walnut grips are above average quality and they are flared wide at the bottom with most of their finish, and the front bottom of the receiver that meets the barrel has the Patent date of Dec. 27 1859. The gun indexes good but is stiff, and locks up good and the cylinderhas al the nipples, and they are clean and sharp,The barrel assembly is blue truned to brow, rest of gun is more greyish. A very nice clean gun for your collection. Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
