An exact copy of this beautiful American martial including lock markings of HARPERS FERRY 1807, on back of lock, and an eagle and a U.S. under the flint hammer a .54 caliber rifled bore, the gun is overall about un-fired, with Italian proofs , Italian manufacture and really exceptional workmanship.10" rifled. Ram-rod is hardwood with a brass tip. Barrel is 100% factory blued , and the lock is color case hardened. French walnut stock is very good,looks like new! .Bore is very clean, stell dark blue. showers sparks, and woud make a good shooter. Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
