Description:
Caliber 22. This gun has a 28 inch octagon barrel with an excellent bore, Lyman bead front sight, Lyman flip up rear sight and a Lyman folding tang sight. Gun is also fitted for a scope. It has a silver plate with one screw into the barrel and inletted into the forearm. I have seen this before on Marlins over the years. I don't know exactly what scope will fit it. Features half length magazine. A beautifully checkered F-grade pistol grip deluxe fancy burl walnut stocks in excellent condition with Swiss buttplate. This gun features nickel trim on the Swiss buttplate, lever hammer and forend cap which are all engraved. Case hardened receiver is beautifully accomplished with a number 3 pattern engraving I believe. Features 2 deer on one side and another on the opposite side. Overall gun is excellent with 95% bright shiny barrel and magazine blue. Receiver has about 60-70% thinning case color. They are still very good and visible being strong in the protected areas. Wood is excellent plus. A well done very beautiful gun!
