Winchester Model 70 Super Grade, pre-64, 257 Roberts, #80XXX, 1948 mfg, transition gun with cloverleaf tang, and factory drilled rear bridge and pre-war safety, 93% blue and wood varnish, left side of receiver has 2 holes drilled for a side scope mount which has been removed, and about 3 1/2" of the stock on left side has been inletted for old scope mount, excellent bore, matching bolt, no alteration to the bolt handle, an excellent shooter.
