- Left side "Patented APR. 20, 1897 SEPT. 9, 1902 DEC. 19, 1905 FEB. 14, 1911. AUG. 19, 1913"
- Rampant colt "Colts PT. F.A.MFG.CO.Hartford, CT. U.S.A."
- Original early style safety, hammer, and half moon front blade sight
- Left side of trigger guard "W." and "VP" in a triangle (means Colt verified proof inspection)
- Proper double diamond checkered walnut grips in very good shape
