Description:
The 1886 "Johnson" Winchester lever-action rifle is a restored original Winchester 1886 TD model by custom rifle maker and western movie actor Brad Johnson. This rifle, an original '86 is custom fitted and engraved by Mr. Johnson to capture the culture of the Old West and history of fine custom Winchesters built through the years. The action, lever, hammer, and several internal parts are original. The stock and barrel are new. Each rifle comes with a test target revealing the excellent accuracy his rifles deliver. Also included is an extra grip cap which can be engraved with your initials; allowing the owner to retain the original cap for installation should it be resold or handed-down. This rifle is chambered for the powerful 50-110 Express cartridge, first produced by Winchester in 1887. Two factory loadings were available. Both were equipped with 300 grain lead bullets; the standard load at 1605 fps, and the high velocity load at 2225 fps. Oak & Leather fitted case.
