Description:
This is the earliest Model 55 takedown we have ever had. I believe it would be circa 1924. Gun is totally original down to the sights and buttplate, with lots of blue left on the barrel and magazine tube, and the receiver mostly grayed. Wood has seen a lot of use and shows it with minor dents and handling marks. All good and solid but 2 chips missing at top tang area (see last 2 photos) which could be easily repaired. Bore would rate very good and chamber is perfect.
