DESCRIPTION: Winchester Pre-64 Model 94 FLATBAND carbine, caliber 30-30, with standard 20" round barrel, ramped front sight, full magazine, 22 series rear sight with thumbprint elevator, walnut stocks, and shotgun butt with correct checkered steel butt plate, serial # 1477843, made approximately 1947.
CONDITION: Barrel and mag tube retain 75% thinning original blue with scattered dings and spots of loss due to surface oxidation. Bore is excellent, a 9 of 10, with sharp rifling and no pitting. Receiver retains 35% original blue with the balance flaked to silver and worn from carry wear. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, no extra holes, never sanded or refinished, and retain most of the original varnish. Front sight hood missing, otherwise and complete and very good condition uncommon flatband variation of the world's most popular lever action rifle. Priced to move quickly so don't let this one pass you by!!
