Description:
This early CE is a tad under 8lbs with 30"x2 3/4" Krupp steel bbls choked full each side (R730/690 L730/689), very stout bbls min wall 40 thou each side. Highly figured buttstock 14" through correct hard buttplate, 1 1/2" x 2 5/8" drops with almost no cast. Action, toplever and forend iron have been recolored; triggers and trigger bow have fresh charcoal blue; screws fire-blued. Bbls have had a bulge in L bbl removed but still partially evident internally. Freshly blacked by Kearcher. Forend wood has been replaced and buttstock has had a new piece spliced into upper head on either side of action, professional work by Bill Ferguson. All wood has fresh hand-rubbbed oil finish with recut 24/22 lpi checkering.
