Description:
The Johnson's serial number is B 1857. As with all of the Johnsons it has mixed serial numbers with the parts. This rifle is in amazing condition! This rifle shows little use or being handled. The original bluing would rate a 99% overall condition. The bore is bright and minty looking. The stock has all of the original finish intact. There is four little lines by the right hand safety for unknown reasons. The rest of the stock and handguard have a stunning look and eye appeal. The magazine drum is in new condition with no dents or wear. The barrel vent sleeve shows very little wear from the barrel rubbing back and forth from use. The receiver has all of the bright bluing intact. The rear sight is in new condition. There is no blue loss with the barrel. The barrel is properly marked by the breech and barrel collar. The barrel dismount lever works smoothly. The barrel is very easy to remove and re install! The bolt shows all of the original polish with very faint rubbing lines from working the action. I also have a very fine unused bayonet and scabbard for this gun. See my Accessories listing for purchasing this bayonet. This is a amazing condition Johnson Model 1941! I have had several Johnsons through the years and this is the finest one of these rare guns I have ever handled! This rifle would be a real show piece in any collection!
