New items added daily! Description: This is a rare 480 code Walther P.38 from 1940. All numbered parts are matching, including the grips, and the magazine is fewer than 100 digits off! The bluing rates at about 80-85%, with minor thinning along top of barrel and slide, edge wear on all sides, and some finish loss on the front strap. There were only about 7,000 of this variation produced with 480 code on the trigger guard, making it one of the rarest P.38 variations. The magazine is correct and original, with proper double E/359 stamp at base of spine. Like most of the early Walther P.38's, the small parts are all correctly waffen proofed. Good mechanics, including de-cocker. Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout.
