Description:
This Winchester was produced in 1910. The rifle's serial number is 201369. It will handle 22 Short - Long - And long rifle ammunition. The bore is in very fine bright condition with sharp lands. This Winchester has the early smooth forend. The outer magazine tube is the earlier style which does not have the reinforced locking band. The sights are original to this gun. The take down is very snug with no play. The original bluing is in very nice condition. The bluing would rate a 97% overall condition. The bluing does have some light browning in spots on the barrel and the left side of the receiver. There is hardly any rub marks or wear from operating the rifle. This little 22 shows very little use or being shot! The wood stock and pump handle are in fine condition with no damage or cracks. The original wood finish is intact and would rate a 98% condition. The original buttplate is in fine condition with no chips or wear. This is a high quality Winchester for the collector. It is difficult to find early Model 1906's in this nice of condition!
