U.S. MODEL 1841 Mississippi by Robbins Kendall & Lawrence made in 1847. Lock markings are clear 1847, Windsor, Vt. Behinds the lock and Robbins Kendall & Lawrence in front. Barrel marked US, JPC, P. Also N.J. For the State of New Jersey. Stock is very good with a faint cartouche which is barely visible and a 6 inch sliver/chip missing along the barrel channel visible in a photo. The tang is marked 1848, also the rear swivel is broken but present. The 58 caliber bore is clean with good rifling. Overal a good historical rifle. Shipping will be actuall cost.
