Description:
.45-70 caliber, 32 5/8" barrel, finished blue overall with casehardened breechblock and rear uppertang. Buffington folding ladder sight. Walnut stock bearing an "1881" dated cartouche. Retaining much of the original blue with some fading to plum. The breechblock shows nice muted case colors. Excellent bore. Very nice wood with some storage marks but free from damage or repair.
