This Civil War era revolver has been expertly restored to almost “as new” condition with brilliant casehardening, bright crystal blue, and excellent original walnut grips. There is about 95% of this excellent refinish remaining. It must have been a near unused revolver that the finish simply flaked off and the owner sought to have it look new again since the metal is so crisp with razor-sharp edges and fine barrel address. The case looks to be an original casing but possibly relined a long time ago and it looks to be able to be mated with many other Navy sized revolvers. It has a refinished Colt Navy bullet mold as well as a military motif’ large flask, an Ely cap tin (empty), and a few cast lead bullets, The walnut case locking key is missing, it has a crack in the lid and some minor staining, but is sound and in VG condition otherwise. Overall this is a VERY inexpensive casing of a much less common secondary martial revolver! About excellent as described. $2595 SOLD Antique: Yes |
