Description:
Harry Lawson custom rifle in 7mm Rem. Magnum. This gun was built from a Model 70 barrel/action. Full length stock grade 5-6X walnut. Invoice for rifle refers to this model as R.H. Cochise. This rifle is in excellent condition including wood and metal components. Barrel/action in Micro-D bluing, and is fastened to the stock at the recoil lug and the forward sling stud. Both of these points of contact are glass bedded. Fit and feel of this thumb hole stock is superb. Barrel length is 20.5 inches and was recrowned by Harry Lawson. Beside the stock this rifle has the Lawson trigger guard and safety and his custom bolt shroud. The trigger is the original model 70 and is adjustable. The scope is an older Redfield 2x-7x variable. I I have the original invoice (Dec. 13, 1977) and correspondence between the buyer and Harry Lawson.
