Description:
This Colt 1911 Model is a World War I Commemorative of the battle of Belleau Wood. It was the first all American WW I triumph in France and is primarily the story of the 4th Marine Brigade. It is beautifully roll engraved with a battle depiction, WW I commemorative banner and has bronze medallions in the grip panels. It is a right hand Semi-Automatic in .45 ACP Cal. A blade front and notch rear sight. It has a 5 inch barrel with a high polish rear serrated Colt Royal Blue slide. It has American walnut grip panels. A solid trigger and checkered hammer spur. It comes in very nice shadow box that gives a description of the historical event.
