Description:
Winchester 1892 trapper 15" barrel in 44-40 caliber . Comes with a leather scabbard maker marked. Also has ATF letter. It has been cleared by ATF and is on there list. Condition is Very Good Plus. Metal has traces of solid blue. Overall metal is a nice smood patina. Markings are crisp. Wood is original and fits proud to the metal. Wood is in fine original condition. Bore is a 8 . Nice bright bore with very strong rifling. mechanics are excellent ! Gun locks up tight no wiggle. Hammer is very strong. It has all original carbine sights. Butt plate has traces of finish. Overall a fine example of a 1892 trapper in 44-40 caliber. That has a letter and a period leather Scabbard. Please review my photos and please email me with any questions? 3 day Inspection as always.
