Description:
US Model 1884 Springfield Trapdoor 45-70 caliber army rifle. The full length walnut stock has been sanded and reffinished leaving a faint cartouche. The 32.5" barrel is a smooth grey brown color as well as most of the other metal parts. All metal markings are present and correct. The Buffington rear site is present and works perfectly. The lock and breach block function fine. The rifling is good with some minor pitting. The rifle is complete with the original cleaning rod.
