This weapon is built with the LMT patented Monolithic Rail Platform, MRP. The only true monolithic rail platform, milled from a single solid piece of aerospace aluminum forging. The LM8 upper receiver has 16.25" of uninterrupted 1913 picatinny rail on the 12 o’clock position. The 3, 6 and 9 o’clock rails have locating lugs and screw holes.
