Description:
Winchester model 62 .22 s,l, lr. pump action rifle. This very nice 62 was made early in the second year of production, 1933. Overall this 62 is in very good/fine original condition for a gun made 87 years ago! Barrel blue in 97%+ and all inscriptions are sharp and clear; and the bore is perfect. The receiver blue is faded and verigated; the lower tang is pretty much completely devoid of blue. The screws are in fine/excellent condition. The forearm has just traces of original varnish and the buttstock has been varnished but not sanded. The muzzle looks as though the rifle was dropped square on a hard surface. All in all this is a very nice 62.
