Description:

HOPKINS & ALLEN Top Break DOUBLE ACTION C&R Revolver with PEARL GRIPS

Early 20th Century Conceal and Carry

Here we present a Hopkins & Allen Top Break Double Action Revolver, made circa 1899-1917 in Norwich, Connecticut. Hopkins & Allen had its roots in the mid-to-late 19th Century, producing revolvers and other firearms under their own name, as well as producing all of the Merwin & Hulbert revolvers. These latter revolvers have been increasingly recognized for their unique design and high-quality manufacture. This 5-shot, .38 S&W revolver features a similar design to Smith & Wesson revolvers of the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. The top breaks open, activating the automatic ejector.

The overall condition is near fine. The action is excellent. The bore is in great condition. Beautiful mother of pearl grips. The right grip has a bit of old chipping at the backstrap. This one is a stunner!
