.31 Caliber 5 shot percussion revolver with 3" octogonal barrel. Barrel is marked "F.Beals Patent, June 24,'56 & May 26 '57" Frame is marked" Remington's llion, N.Y." Approximately 5000 made between 1857 and 1858. Everything works on this gun and is all original. I am only the second owner of this gun.
