Winchester Model 21 12 gauge SxS field grade shotgun. The iconic American double, the venerable Model 21. This gun was made during the 1950’s and for many 21 enthusiasts the 50’s was the “Golden” era of these guns! This one has 30” barrels with a solid rib and chokes marked M/F, however the chokes measure .012” and .038” (IC & XF) with bores of .733” and wall thicknesses of .036” and 2 ¾” chambers with perfect bores. The handsomely figured walnut pistol grip buttstock has a 14” LOP to the factory buttplate, 1 ½” DAC and 2 3/8” DAH with neutral cast. The beavertail forearm is original to gun and matches the buttstock perfectly in figure, fit and finish. Mechanically excellent. Metal was professionally redone years ago and is fading in places. Wood finish appears to be original and in fine condition. Weighs 7 lbs. 9 oz. It balances well between the hands and it would be ideal for SxS sporting clays.
