Description:
Bulgarian Makarov produced by the government arsenal in 1988. The Makarov is a Russian semi-automatic pistol devoloped by Nikolay Fyodorovich Makarov and became the Soviet Union's standard side arm in 1951. It is a medium-size, straight-blowback-action, all-steel construction, frame-fixed barrel handgun chambering the 9x18mm cartridge. This example is has a matching frame and slide with all correct components. It comes with two non-matching magazines. The finish is excellent and only showing wear on the hammer, safety lever, and lanyard loop. It functions perfectly with a nice bright bore and sharp rifling. This is a nice example of a Cold War era firearm and would fit perfectly in a Soviet firearms collection.
