Looks like a old Tintype Photos Album. Just as old as the gun. Gun has all of its factory Nickel finish remaining. Gun locks up tight . No crack in hinge. EXC bore. Mechanics are excellent. Carved Ivory Grips are great condition. Box is period . Looks like gun has been in there forever. Fine example of a great American period cased set.
